Lynton Excelight | IPL System

The Lynton Excelight® is our powerful IPL system, designed for a variety of cosmetic skin treatments.

It is a compact, fast, portable, and easy-to-set-up IPL device that can be used to provide treatments for hair reduction, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation, rosacea, and other vascular conditions, among others.

The system can be used safely and efficiently by any practitioner, thanks to its short learning curve and preset treatment protocols.

HandpiecesThe Lynton Excelight is available with two handpieces:

• 585 handpiece (skin types I–III)
  For the treatment of vascular conditions, pigment removal, acne, and IllumiFacial™.
• 650 handpiece (skin types I–IV)
  For the removal of unwanted hair, skin rejuvenation, and IllumiFacial™.

The 585 and 650 handpieces are easy to swap out, and thanks in part to ILG™ (Interchangeable Light Guide technology), treatments can be performed safely and effectively: the attachments can be adjusted to fit the size of the treatment area. For example, choose a small spot for precise work around the nose, or use a larger spot for quick hair removal on the legs or back.

Combination TherapyIt’s becoming increasingly common to combine, for example, a (chemical) peel with laser or IPL in a single treatment. The treatments enhance each other’s effects, allowing multiple skin concerns to be addressed at once.
The IllumniFacial™ with the Lynton Excelight is a perfect example of this: the combination of IPL and the peel simultaneously addresses fine lines, enlarged pores, pigmentation, and redness—without a long recovery time.
